My kids wanted to try AdaptedMind for homeschooling, so I signed them up for the free 30 day trial. After using it for a few days and not getting an accurate reading or math placement for them, we stopped using it.

I did not hear anything from them, like an email saying "your free trial is almost up" or anything. I was just automatically charged $19.95 a month for 8 months. I am embarrassed it took us that long to notice what was going on but we weren't even thinking to look for a recurring charge from them. There is no phone number on their site to call, I had to find that on our credit card statement, no one answered at 2 different times I called, and impersonal email was sent saying they tried to get a hold of me- lie.

They were not willing to refund the 8 months of not using their site, only 2 months. I would not recommend this website to anyone.

Product or Service Mentioned: Adaptedmind Free Trial.

Reason of review: I was charged for a using their website without ever using it or liking it..

Monetary Loss: $160.

Preferred solution: Full refund.
